All You Need is Love... and a Mountain || Nick and Andrea are Married || Julian, CA

Ever been to a wedding where the whole essence of the day truly fit the personality of the bride and groom? Nick and Andrea hit this one out of the park.

Down to the very last detail this day was perfection. Ever since the engagement session with Nick and Andie - I could tell their wedding was going to be a day that was carefully planned and thoughtfully orchestrated.

I remember asking them what they were most excited about for their wedding and both of them replied with an answer about how their wedding day was going to be a big reunion of so many family members traveling from all over the country.

It was evident that they poured their hearts into the planning of this wedding. The venue they picked was the Pine Hills Lodge in a little mountain town called Julian. These are two of the most down to earth people who love being surrounded by their friends and family, being outdoors, and getting funky to some good tunes like classic rock and roll. This was no cookie cutter wedding by any means - it was absolutely perfect.

During the ceremony, Nick and Andie took a moment to light candles and light fixtures for each person who couldn’t be there with them today. They took a moment to face their guests at the ceremony and look out on all the faces there to witness and celebrate their marriage. During the reception Andie surprised her dad during the father/daughter dance with a special song that they love together. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a day quite like this. A day that with each unfolding detail, portrayed two people so perfectly.

From the skittle colored velvet furniture lounge, the unique and beautiful centerpieces, the gorgeous fall palette flowers, the thoughtful guestbook of birthdays, Andrea’s grandmother’s cameo wrapped around the bridal bouquet, borrowing her great grandmother’s (passed down to her aunt) necklace and earrings, her velvet heels that matched perfectly with her metallic nails, Andie’s engagement ring AND the venue both from the same year - 1912, Nick's cuff links that belonged to his grandfather, the officiant who married her dad and stepmom 14 years ago, and on and on. Everything down to even the vendors that they wanted to support in their own neighborhood - It was all so intentional and beautifully put together.

Nick and Andrea - I am honored to be one of the carefully curated details of your wedding day to capture your unique story. Your wedding day was so beautiful, I wish I could post all the images on here right now! You two are so wonderfully thoughtful and genuine. I have a pretty big suspicion that your marriage will be full of adventures together and lots of dancing in the moonlight.
