John + Tami Married on a Jetty || Santa Barbara, CA

The day started slow and mellow with low-sitting clouds hovering over Santa Barbara.

The hotel was quietly humming with guests  checking in. When I got to the room where Tami and the girls were getting ready, make up was well underway and hairspray lingered in the air. Tami had just started getting ready, but she already had a stunning bride glow about her. The day progressed so easily and before we knew it Tami was getting into her gown and heading to see John for the first look.

The first look was magical (I mean, just see it for yourself). John's reaction was so priceless. What was even sweeter was the ceremony. You could see with each exchanged glance and laugh between Tami and John how they just loved each others presence. Nothing could make them happier.

I constantly found them laughing with each other throughout the entire day. Tami was an absolute vision of beauty and the big, happy smiles could not be wiped from her face if you tried, but when I looked back through the photos I noticed all the smiles coming from John too. Isn't it the best when you see the groom get so emotional and just be so happy to be with his bride? I love that about John. He always just seems so at home whenever he's with Tami. Tami is the kind of person that makes everyone feel at home when they are around her.

The whole day was so beautiful and intimate. The sun broke through just before the first look and accompanied us for the rest of the day. The spot where they got married on the jetty was so gorgeous and picturesque. The ceremony was full of laughs and tears from their closest friends and family who traveled across the country and the world to be there. The reception at the Maritime Museum was full of  thoughtful details of  Tami and John and their love of traveling the world. The toasts and well-wishes from family and friends were not in short supply. It was the sweetest day celebrating these two.

Tami and John, you are just so sweet together. What a joy it is to watch you be so incredibly in love and witness your marriage. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of that journey with you. Marriage will be the greatest adventure yet!  I wish you the very best and many, many years of exploring the world together.
