If you know anything about me, then you know that unique, unapologetically-YOU weddings are by far my favorite things to capture. A wedding that embodies each partner and is a true celebration of them and their beautiful relationship… THAT is what I love to shoot. That is exactly what bride Hayley described to me for her and Alex’s Cambridge, Maryland wedding on our initial phone call together. She used the words “ball gowns and pizza vibes,” and I was immediately hooked. Everything from the music, to the venue, to the intricate details of this wedding day just felt perfect.

This wedding day was the perfect mixture of quirky, fun, retro, boho, and glam. Everything from the moody fall florals to the clear panel tent that the reception took place in (which I’ve never actually seen before, and I was floored by how beautiful it was!) Everything perfectly captured the vibes of this wonderful couple. 

Every detail about this day was super personal. The actual wedding venue was a property that has been in Hayley’s family for a long, long time. It’s this beautiful farm nestled right on the Chesapeake Bay. Her brother even officiated the ceremony (which was an outdoor ceremony that took place on the corner of the property.) Even the wedding cake was from the bakery that Hayley worked at growing up! She also did a first look with both of her grandfathers. This was such a beautiful wedding day with so many personal and unique moments and details. This truly was one for the books and such a fun way to start off my move to Maryland! Thank you so much, Hayley and Alex, for letting me capture your insanely cool day.
