September weddings in New Jersey might be my new favorite. Driving through what once were very familiar tree covered roads and looking at the leaves just start to turn - I was reminded of all the beauty that I was fortunate to grow up with.

Blake (or BJ as I’ve always known him) and Jess were celebrated in the best way at their wedding. BJ was one of my brother's best friends since elementary school and over the years BJ has pretty much become a brother to me. I’ve watched them grow up together as the little sister and loved following them around whether it was playing wiffle ball in the backyard or as I got older joining in basement parties and other shenanigans. When Jess joined the friend group, she fit right in immediately. She is the perfect amount of fun and spunk to fit right into the group with BJ and his incredibly unique circle of friends. Jess is the kind of girl who can make friends everywhere she goes and she will show you the kindest and happiest heart.

The wedding was nothing short of a good time. It was incredible to see all of their friends and family come together to celebrate these two. The day started with Jess and her bridesmaids throwing a dance party in their private quarters as we waited for the ceremony to start. After the ceremony there were brick oven pizza and Egyptian food trucks, a pick-up wiffle ball game at the venue, and ended with the greatest wedding mosh pit of all time. I couldn’t help but smile the entire day, because it was a party that truly celebrated BJ and Jess. One of my favorite details that I found at the reception was a thank you note and gift to the guests. As a thank you, BJ and Jess provided school tuition for a sweet little girl in Haiti. The thought and detail that went into this wedding was incredible and what a special day it was to witness. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that this wedding was the perfect representation of BJ and Jess.
