Coronado Beach Family/Maternity Session
Aren’t these five (six if you count little one in the belly) the actual friggin cutest family ever. Now, I know I say that a lot, but it’s just not fair how cute these sweet friends of mine are. These beautiful parents are expecting their 4th baby - a happy surprise. And the best surprise yet, this family with 3 little girls is welcoming a baby boy this fall. I have been shooting for these lovely people for about 4 years now, and it has been such a special experience to document the years with them.
For this beach family photo session, we decided to scout out a gorgeous little spot around the dunes of Coronado Beach, California. We got there just before sunset, which is how we captured those stunning cool tones with the golden hour light just peeking over the horizon. The family ate pizza, danced around, laughed, and of course got in some major mama and baby bump snuggles (which quite literally melted me.) It was the perfect afternoon.
On top of all the fun we were having, the family all looked so beautiful and ethereal. Mama wore a floor-length, multi-colored dress that showcased her baby bump just perfectly. Dad wore a simple blue button-down and black jeans. The three girls all looked SO incredibly sweet in coordinating white dresses. They all looked so good, and their beach family photos came out so dreamy and perfect.
This family + maternity session was so much fun, and I cannot wait for when little baby boy comes and we can finally capture them as a family of six.
