San Diego is known for a beautiful place to get married with incredible weather all year round. There’s so many unique venues to choose from, but The New Children’s Museum just may be my favorite in San Diego. It’s such a fun venue to have a wedding with so much to do and so much character in the museum and in the heart of downtown.

From our first meeting over coffee at Communal Coffee to our session together in North Park and then experiencing watching these two get married, I have loved every minute of getting to know Neal + Christina. Their wedding day was filled with so much anticipation, confetti, a dance floor that was at max capacity at all times, and an extra sparkly exit. So many hands were involved in making this day special to Neal + Christina. Christina’s mom made her entire veil by hand. Christina’s dad made the chuppah. Even part of the groomsmen gifts were made by hand.

The day started with Christina and her tribe getting ready at the Pendry and Neal and his friends got ready just across the street at the Salomar. A party bus picked them up separately and brought them to a secluded little corner of downtown for a first look. We did the rest of the bridal party portraits downtown and yes the whole wedding party danced around Neal + Christina in the middle of a sidewalk.

There was so much love, friends, family, personal touches, and a jam packed dance floor. It seemed this entire celebration came together in perfection to reflect Christina and Neal and just how rad they are.
