"Oh my God, I hope that's them," I thought to myself as I walked into Moniker General about a year ago on my way to meet Alina and Steven for the first time.

They exuded two things. 1. They are so cutely in love. 2. They are incredibly stylish. When I got to know them even more, I got to know how sweet and fun they are. I'm actually struggling to describe how thoughtful and wonderful these two are. Unreal. I connected with them pretty quick and Alina’s maid of honor (who joined for the consultation). At our initial meeting, they gave me an idea of the vision they had for their wedding. Since it was just about two weeks before Christmas, it was going to be tastefully seasonally appropriate.

Fast forward to their wedding and I finally got to see the party they had envisioned. Since Brick is already a blank canvas that’s just got this warm and inviting atmosphere, the florals, bridesmaids dresses, and linens played a huge part of pulling together the seasonal vibe. Organic flora nailed it with their beautifully done backdrop, bouquets, and the pine branch table runners. Even the kids table was adorned with cute little pine cones. One of my favorite things about the wedding was the layout for the ceremony. They chose to seat all their guests at the tables for the reception to watch the ceremony. That allowed a big open space in front of the bride and groom and a massive aisle for Alina and her dad to walk down. It was honestly incredible and something that I hope trends more in 2020 because I am all about it. This mid December wedding was accompanied with all Steven and Alina’s closest family and friends spanning a multitude of cultures. Seriously. During the thank-you speech, they called out families that were there that represented different parts cultures and parts of the world

This was way too much fun (exactly as it should be). The food - unreal. The dancing - so fun to watch every single guest on the dance floor doing a Turkish dance. Steven and Alina were treated like total celebrities on their wedding day and they are the kind of people that make you feel like a celebrity when you’re around them. I’m so thankful to close out 2019 with this couple and this wedding.
